Macarons originally came from Venetia, Italy and made their first appearance in France during the Renaissance. Macarons can be oval-shape or round and are always composed of almonds, sugar, and egg whites. They became the specialty of many regions of France, including the north-east of France where they are made by the Biscuiterie Fossier that was founded in 1845 in Reims and has been making the biscuits de Reims or rose biscuits for centuries.

Ingredients: sugar, coconut, egg whites. May contain traces of wheat, soy, almonds, hazelnuts.
