During that time, every grocery man still roasted coffee beans himself in front of his shop. After World War 1, Léon Voisin created in Lyon the first Voisin shop that roasted not only coffee beans but also cocoa beans. That is how the chocolate shop Voisin was born. Léon Voisin hired a man called Joseph Boucaud as his director and today, the Boucaud's fourth generation is still taking care of this family business that continues to make coffee, tea, and high-end chocolates.
